Spring Clean-Up!

Please join us at the Annual Truro Creek/Bruce Park Cleanup this Saturday, May 11!

Spring is here at last, so let's celebrate by giving Mother Nature a hand! The snow has melted, unfortunately revealing a winter's worth of garbage. So I would like to invite you to participate in the Annual Truro Creek Cleanup this Saturday, May 11 at 12:00 Noon in Bruce Park. Please consider joining us for a little bit of community investment while appreciating the outdoors.

Plus, we’ll make sure you are fed! Through a generous donation by the Silver Heights Food Fare, we will have hotdogs, veggie dogs, and drinks, and there will also be a chance to win prizes donated by our local businesses.

If you are able to dedicate even an hour to help us pick up a winter’s worth of trash that has collected around the creek and green space, I know that it would make a big difference. I will thank you! The creek will thank you! And so will those who frequently use the space throughout the warm weather months ahead.

This event is hosted in partnership with the Omand's Creek Cleanup hosted by MLA Rob Altemeyer and the Sturgeon Creek Cleanup hosted by MLA Sharon Blady.

If you have any questions, or would like to RSVP, please contact my office at (204) 415-0883

I look forward to seeing you there!
